Question: How can I practice for offline CLAT?
Answer: Candidates can take mock tests and also solve CLAT sample papers as they will help in practicing for the offline CLAT. The sample papers and well as mock tests will prove quite helpful because they provide a look and feel of the format of the actual Common Law Admission Test.
Question: What will happen in case of some problem in the computer during online CLAT?
Answer: In such cases of computer system failure or any other related problems, the candidates should intimate the examination invigilator. However, there will be enough buffer systems available at the examination system to take care of such problems. Question: Has CLAT eligibility criteria changed?
Answer: Yes, the CLAT eligibility criteria had been changed two years back after the Supreme Court order on BCI’s age cap. According to the revised eligibility criteria of CLAT 2020, candidates irrespective of their age limit can apply for the NLUs admission test. Earlier, the Bar Council of India (BCI) had put an age bar, following which candidates attaining an age of 20 years or less as on the date of admission year, could only apply for the national-level law entrance exam for undergraduate programmes and those belonging to SC, ST, Other Backward Classes, and Specially-Abled Persons (SAP) were given an upper age relaxation of 2 years, i.e., 22 years of age as on the same date for being considered eligible for CLAT.
Question: Is there any arrangement for Specially-Abled Persons (SAPs)?
Answer: Yes, the specially-abled persons can opt either to arrange for his/ her own scribe or to make a request to the CLAT office to provide one for them. In case of the first option, candidates will need to download the scribe declaration form at the time of filling CLAT 2020 application. Moreover, the SAPs will be entitled to a compensatory time of 40 minutes.
Question: Will I be given extra sheets/papers for rough work and calculations?
Answer: Yes, examination centers will be providing rough sheets for calculations. However, no electronic devices will be allowed in the CLAT examination centers.

Question: Will I be refunded the CLAT counselling fee, if I don’t want to take admission?
Answer: Candidates must note that there shall be no refund of counselling fee after the last date of withdrawal from the admission process, i.e., tentatively in the month of June. Those candidates who have withdrawn their seats up to the last scheduled date will be refunded after deducting Rs. 10,000 from the CLAT counseling fee.
